Incubation Program Coordinator

imece is a social innovation platform operating in Turkey that provides capacity building, financial and network support to social entrepreneurs focused on creating a positive ecological and social impact. I feel lucky that I had the chance to take a role as the incubation program coordinator for 1.5 years with this team. I can say that I met the perspective of impact-oriented thinking and creation right under this roof.

2015 - 2016

Learning by doing entrepreneurship

When I booked my first spot in a co-working space in Istanbul, that was the first moment I met the entrepreneurship world. Based on my learnings from other co-workers and business professionals, I decided to establish my own spatial design brand; therefore, Farklı Mekan was born. I also found 2 different brands; one focuses on jewelry design and the other on creative merchandise design. All failed, as you may guess:)

2005 - 2015

Creative Direction and Production Design

I graduated as a stage & production designer, and a creative director. Starting from my second year in the university, I worked as a creative director and a production designer for a decade for TV Shows, music videos, commercials, movies, festivals, and more...

Creative Direction

Güldür Güldür Show is one of the longest-running and most-watched award-winning comedy programs in Turkey. The program, which started out in 2009 with the name "Beşer Beşer", later reached its final form by taking different names such as "İnsanlar Alemi" and "Güldür Güldür". Tuğçe Akbulut was the artistic director of the program for 6 years from the beginning.
